Download presentation from Nadine HughesThe IRS and state tax authorities are rapidly adopting broad new electronic payment and electronic reporting mandates for payroll taxes. These laws and systems vary widely, and businesses should be aware of potential pitfalls. This webinar covers what you need to understand about coverage, penalties, and how to prepare.

Additionally, the recent Affordable Care Act (AKA Health Care Reform) included dramatic expansions to 1099 reporting for payments to corporations, and payments for property and goods.  There are several proposals to amend the new reporting. Are any changes likely? Businesses may need substantial time and resources to prepare their systems to comply.  This webinar will also cover aggregation requirements, TIN solicitation and potential back-up withholding on payments to corporations and suppliers.

Key Take-Aways:

  • How IRS Electronic Tax Payments mandates affect all businesses
  • How to avoid 10% EFTPS penalties
  • State Electronic Filing and Electronic Tax Payment mandates
