Washington, D.C. (Oct. 8, 2018) – NFIB, the nation’s leading small business advocacy association, today is endorsing Eddie Edwards for New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District.
“Eddie Edwards has been a friend and supporter of the small business community,” said NFIB’s New Hampshire State Director Bruce Berke. “Edwards has advocated for reducing taxes and lowering healthcare costs for small businesses. In his role as Chief of Enforcement at the New Hampshire Liquor Commission, Edwards saw firsthand the negative effect burdensome regulations have on small businesses. On behalf of our members in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District, we are proud to endorse Edwards for election to the United States House of Representatives.”
Edwards previously owned a small business that focused on helping small businesses reduce regulations.
“I truly appreciate earning the support of NFIB and for their recognition that I will be a champion for New Hampshire small businesses. Granite Staters know I will always fight to ensure that we keep taxes low and cut through the red tape and overregulation that stifle job creation. It is imperative that we continue to grow our economy to ensure a bright future for generations to come,” said Eddie Edwards.
“Eddie Edwards has a clear understanding of the issues that small businesses care about and has proven support of pro-small business policies,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “Edwards will be a reliable supporter of small business owners in the U.S. House.”
NFIB is the nation’s leading small business advocacy association. Eddie Edwards endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities. NFIB members in New Hampshire will work hard to elect Eddie Edwards to the U.S. House.
