NFIB cites candidate’s experience in its endorsement

Washington, D.C. (July 31, 2018)NFIB, the nation’s leading small business advocacy association, today is endorsing NFIB member Amie Hoeber for Maryland’s 6th Congressional District.

“As a small business owner and NFIB member, Amie Hoeber has a deep understanding of the challenges small businesses face daily,” said NFIB’s Maryland State Director Mike O’Halloran. “We are confident that Amie Hoeber will stand up for small business in the U.S. House and will work to protect small business tax cuts and help eliminate burdensome regulations. On behalf of our members in Maryland’s 6th Congressional District, we are proud to endorse Amie Hoeber for election to the U.S. House.”

Amie Hoeber is a small business owner, starting AMH Consulting in 1992. She has been a longtime member and supporter of NFIB.

“I am honored by the endorsement of NFIB. As a small business owner, myself, I know what it takes to make businesses successful in the District. As the next Congresswoman for the 6th District, I will take my small business experience to Washington, D.C. to empower and foster more small business growth in our area,” said Hoeber.

“NFIB knows that good small business policy starts with electing good small business candidates,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “Amie Hoeber understands the issues that small businesses care about, and she will be a key supporter of small business in the U.S. House.”

NFIB is the nation’s leading small business advocacy association. Amie Hoeber’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities. NFIB members in Maryland will work hard to elect Amie Hoeber to the U.S. House.
