HARRISBURG, Penn. (Sept. 16, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Jim Bognet for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District.
“Growing up with a family small business, Jim Bognet understands the challenges that our members face in these difficult times,” said Gordon Denlinger, NFIB’s Pennsylvania State Director. “He will be a strong voice and a courageous leader for our state’s small businesses on issues they care about, such as deregulation. Small businesses need elected officials who understand the impact government has on businesses now more than ever. We are proud to endorse Jim Bognet today on behalf of small businesses in Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District.”
“Jim Bognet is committed to standing up for the issues NFIB members are concerned with,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “We know he will be a champion for small businesses in Pennsylvania and across the country in Congress and we are pleased to endorse him today.”
Jim Bognet’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Pennsylvania will work hard to elect Jim Bognet to Congress.
