LINCOLN, Neb. (Oct. 23, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Senator Ben Sasse for re-election to the United States Senate.
“Senator Ben Sasse has been a strong supporter of Nebraska’s small businesses in his first term,” said Robert Hallstrom, NFIB’s Nebraska State Director. “He has a deep understanding of the issues our members are concerned about, especially during these difficult times. We have no doubt that Senator Sasse will continue to be an advocate for our state’s small businesses and will work hard to move forward pro-small business legislation in the U.S. Senate. On behalf of Nebraska’s small business community, we are pleased to endorse Senator Ben Sasse for re-election today.”
“Senator Sasse is a true ally of small businesses,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “We are proud to endorse Senator Ben Sasse for re-election to the U.S. Senate, and we look forward to continuing to work with him.”
Ben Sasse’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Nebraska will work hard to re-elect Ben Sasse.
