TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Oct. 7, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Byron Donalds for election to the United States House of Representatives today.
“Byron Donalds stands up for small business,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB’s Florida Executive Director. “Donalds has been a strong supporter of small businesses throughout his time in the Florida state Legislature and has always made himself available, even working late into the evening on small business amendments to legislation. In his last year in the state legislature, he advanced legislation to guarantee your right to start and run a business from your home. He also earned a 100% NFIB voting record during the 2019-2020 legislative sessions in Tallahassee. We know he will continue to be an ally for Florida small businesses in Congress, and we are proud to endorse him today.”
“Byron Donalds’ background in both the private and public sectors makes him a strong small business candidate,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “We are confident he will be a terrific advocate for small businesses in Florida and across the country. We are pleased to endorse him today.”
Byron Donalds’ endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Florida will work hard to elect Byron Donalds to Congress.
