Webinar: What You Need to Know About Safety Committees Under the NY HERO Act!

Date: October 20, 2021

Register today for this free webinar on Wednesday, Oct. 27th

NFIB in New York, along with special guests from Ogletree Deakins, is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, Oct. 27th, at 12 p.m. on the NY HERO Act and safety committee requirements. The NY HERO Act, passed by the New York State Legislature earlier this year, requires ALL EMPLOYERS to adopt an airborne infectious disease prevention plan. But there’s more! Section two of the law requires employers with 10 or more employees to ALLOW employees to establish safety committees at the worksite. What are the safety committees allowed to do, and what does this new law mean for small business owners?

Join us on Wednesday, October 27th at 12 p.m. to find out more about the NY HERO Act and what you are required to do to comply with the new law. This event is complimentary, but registration is required. A join link will be sent to registrants on Tuesday, Oct 26th.
