On November 25, the state of Washington announced it was making another round of grant money available to small businesses. NFIB Washington recommends checking out the details in this news release from the Washington State Department of Commerce.
“… Gov. Jay Inslee announced an additional $70 million for business grants,” according to the news release. “$50 million of that is for a new round of Working Washington business grants. The remainder will go toward funding all qualified businesses that applied in earlier rounds of our resiliency grant program. (NOTE: Businesses who applied for the resiliency grant program will not need to take any action).”
The maximum grant award is $20,000 and can only cover expenses or costs incurred due to COVID-19 and that were necessary to continue business operations. More information is available at www.commerce.wa.gov/bizgrants.
