Roe Recognized as Guardian of Small Business

Date: October 17, 2018

NFIB, the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, recognized U.S. Rep. Phil Roe as a Guardian of Small Business at a reception today in Morristown.

The Guardian of Small Business Award is the most prestigious honor that NFIB bestows on members of Congress in recognition of their efforts to support small business issues. NFIB State Director Jim Brown recognized Roe at ES Inc., an NFIB member business on Erie Court.
Roe has earned a 100% voting record with NFIB in the 115th Congress (2017-18), siding with small businesses on regulations and legal reform. He also supported the historic Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which eased the financial pressure on small businesses and made it easier for them to grow and to create jobs.
“Congressman Roe understands the challenges facing small businesses here in the 1st District and across the country,” Brown said. “He has done everything he can to help create an environment where small businesses can grow and create jobs.”
“On behalf of our members in the 1st District, I’m proud to present Congressman Roe with this Guardian of Small Business Award.”
