Michigan Primary Elections on August 7th

Date: July 24, 2018

Why the small business vote counts!

Michigan primary elections are on Tuesday, August 7th. Primary voters will pick their parties nominees that will run in the general election this November. In many districts the primary election is THE election. This is because whoever wins the August primary is all but assured victory in November as the party in question has an overwhelming majority of voters in that district.

In addition to choosing candidates for state House and Senate seats, voters will also choose their parties nominees for Governor and for Congress.

There is a lot riding on this year’s election. Michigan has made great strides in improving the small business climate. Congress and the administration are helping grow the economy by reducing costly and burdensome regulations and enacting historic tax reform legislation. That’s helping small businesses expand and create jobs.

We need to keep the momentum going by supporting the candidates who support small business. Click here to find your candidates and polling place details.
