NFIB AVAILABLE FOR COMMENT TOMORROW FOLLOWING NEW JERSEY’S STATE OF THE STATE

The state’s leading small business advocacy group,
the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) will be watching
tomorrow’s state of the state address closely and available by phone or in
person to offer commentary at the conclusion of the Governor’s remarks.

WHO:
Laurie Ehlbeck, NFIB New Jersey State Director.

WHAT:
The small business perspective on the state of New Jersey’s business climate
and immediate reaction to Governor Christie’s 2016 address.

WHEN:
January 12, 2016 at the conclusion of New Jersey’s state of the state.

WHERE:
In person at the State House or via phone at 609-970-5813.

WHY:
Lately it seems New Jersey’s economy has nowhere to go but up. With questions
looming on the transportation trust fund and pension obligations, the small
business community is fearful of what the future holds for those trying to keep
their doors open. While NFIB members will be dreaming of a speech full of tax
cut proposals and regulatory reductions tonight, the stark economic reality
that New Jersey business owners face will most likely remain the case long
after the conclusion of tomorrow’s remarks.
