Date: November 30, 2020

The state has developed a Business Interruption Grant (BIG) program to help small businesses hit hardest by the pandemic.

The $636 million program leverages federal funding provided by the CARES Act to help offset COVID-19 related losses for Illinois small businesses. Funding may be used to help businesses with working capital expenses including payroll, rent, utilities, and other operational costs as defined in the eligible cost list found below.

The second round of funding is now live. To learn more, visit BIG’s website.

Details will be outlined during free webinars on Friday, Dec. 4, and Thursday, Dec. 10.
